About

Purchases made through the disaster.guide supply shop help us advance the goal of our mission-driven, low-profit limited liability company (weDAT L3C) to improve preparedness capacity among individuals & communities by providing accessible disaster risk information, on-the-ground mitigation efforts, and organizational preparedness tools through our main project/site — disaster.guide.

In alignment with our vision to truly equip the public with tools to diminish disaster impacts, the disaster.guide supply shop only features items that have been firsthand tested by disaster experts and survivors — We, too, have been through a variety of disaster events & aftermaths, and we know how important it is to have practical items that will not fail you when you need them most.

Post-Katrina/Post-Rita, March 2006

Our practical preparedness products are priced as reasonably as possible to expand accessibility for all – and, to reduce as much as we can – at least some of the stress & strain associated with the need for so many of us to live in a consistent state of disaster preparedness.
